Why We Do This

When you live through a few profound losses in a short span of time, your perspective shifts. You begin to think more deeply about how you spend your time –and what truly matters.

After recently losing both my mom and my brother, we found ourselves on an unexpected new path. We created and led their celebrations of life and lovingly produced tribute videos to honor them. It wasn’t entirely new territory –we’ve been doing this kind of storytelling for years within our own family. Epic vacation videos, milestone birthday tributes, wedding stories, even school projects with our kids –capturing moments and crafting memories has always been a part of our lives.

But this time something changed. After those celebrations, people began asking, “Would you do this for others, if they hired you?” The question lingered. Could we?

Soon after, a close friend lost her father. We offered to make a tribute video –not only as professionals, but as people who understand the power of remembering. When she watched it, she gasped and said to David, “You brought him back to life.” That moment made it clear: we wanted to do more of this.

We love this work. It’s meaningful. It’s gratifying. It’s humbling. Everyone deserves to be honored. Everyone should get their hero moment. Everyone should be able to preserve and pass on their memories and stories.

Yes, we’re still doing the big, glossy TV projects we love –but this new venture…this is something truly special.

So with that, we’re excited to share two things: I’m thrilled to be rejoining David at DNA Winter, where we’ll continue to consult and create the entertainment work we’re passionate about. And –we’re officially launching this heartfelt new venture: a labor of love built around helping others celebrate lives and tell their stories, just as we’ve done for our own family, for years.

We’re now taking on clients and can create these celebratory videos for anyone, anywhere in the country –no matter where you are, we can help you tell your loved one’s story with care, creativity, and heart.

With love,

Amy & David
